By now you’ve probably heard of the QRP in Belize. (Qualified Retirement Program) After looking at your qualifications you may wonder, “Where do I begin?” If you feel overwhelmed at the thought of figuring this out or would just like to make things a little easier for yourself, you may want to consider using “QRPinBelize.” A service I created to assist foreigners with a multitude of things, but primarily QRP applications.
I was born and raised on San Pedro and moved to the mainland later in life. I can attest to Belize being a breath-taking place to call home! The thought of being surrounded by beaches, mountains, flora, and fauna is a refreshing change of pace. The thought of moving, however…. Not so refreshing. Moving can be stressful and overwhelming at times. The ever-changing regulations, paperwork, and requirements can make it seem daunting. “QRPinBelize” is here to help. We are at your side when attaining your QRP status, making your experience a less stressful one.
The Downside to Moving
Belize is notorious for being a little slow when it comes to paperwork. We’re here to prioritize your application, making sure that you are at the forefront of an unending list. With our help, you can be assured that your application won’t be “lost in the shuffle” without having to keep up with its current regulations, we do that for you.
In the early stages of this program, I was invited by BTB (Belize Tourism Board) to be a member of their temporary QRP committee. This created the opportunity for me to learn the ins and outs of this program. Having a thorough understanding of the QRP process, I was often approached by people with questions, concerns, and requests. This is how “QRPinBelize” came to be. Your time is valuable! Allow us to lessen your load by assisting you with all the time-consuming paperwork required to apply. Not only do we provide you with the current forms, but assist with filling and gathering all the needed documents. That way your time and energy can be spent elsewhere!
As your representative, we stay updated on the status of your application throughout the entire process to ensure your approval. Leave any phone calls and emails to us!
After approval, there are still things that need to get done for your move to be complete and your mind to be at ease. After approval, we assist you with opening your non-resident bank account and work hand in hand with your custom broker to ensure that all of your personal belongings are brought down safely. Now Belize can start to feel like home!
