Getting to Belize from the UK
Most of the flights from the UK to Belize are routed through the US. This has typically meant an overnight stopover in the US, but in the fall of 2016, American Airlines began selling tickets for flights to Belize from the UK that don’t require an overnight stop. AA’s Belize flights leave Heathrow in the afternoon and only stopover in Miami for a few hours on the way to Belize City.
Although Belize is a great vacation destination that’s fairly inexpensive once you get there, it can be a little more expensive flying into Belize than comparable rates to nearby countries.
