Wild Mangos Restaurant
Looking for a place to eat and taste some of the amazing produce that Belize has to offer? On the island of San Pedro, there is plenty to choose from but one of my favorite restaurants is Wild Mangos.
I can say from experience that they have never disappointed. It’s located on the beach in front of the RC School in San Pedro Town. The owner and Chef, Amy Knox has a way of bringing unique flavors to life with her vast menu.
Fresh salads, hearty burritos, and light ceviches this spot is a must on the island. Even the drinks hit the spot. Her dishes can be vegetarian and vegan-friendly as well.
If you like a good Margarita well look no further her “Best Damn Margarita” packs a punch. Everything is made fresh you won’t regret trying it.
Your meal is accompanied by a spectacular view of the Caribbean. Enjoy a little taste of the island life. Watch the primary school children run and play on the beach during their lunch break. It adds to a great lunch experience.
Chef Knox’s food is always consistent so you always know exactly what to expect when you order. For those wanting to give their body’s a little break. The menu includes fresh juices that can be just what your body needs to recover after all the fun in the sun.
